RelayVault

Delete your account

Last updated 24 August 2026

Deleting your RelayVault account erases it. It is not a deactivation, and it cannot be undone — we keep no copy to restore from.

Deletion also disarms your switch immediately. A deleted account cannot escalate and cannot deliver anything to anyone.

From the app

In the RelayVault app or on the web, open Settings → Account, choose Delete account, and confirm. Deletion happens straight away.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write to support@relayvault.app from the email address on the account. We will confirm the request came from you and delete the account within 30 days, usually within a few working days.

What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

A record that an account was deleted, and audit entries attached to an escalation that involved somebody else — a trusted contact who was alerted, for instance — are kept for up to seven years. Your account reference is removed from them, so they no longer identify you. We keep these because they are another person’s record of being contacted as much as they are yours.

Request volume counts used to keep the service available are not linked to your identity and are discarded after three months.

Before you delete

There is no export. If you want a copy of anything you stored, take it before you delete — afterwards we cannot produce it, because it no longer exists.

If you only need to stop check-in reminders for a while, use vacation mode instead. It pauses the requirement to check in without erasing anything.
